Scottish Rite Cathedral Indianapolis Wedding
There's just something about a Scottish Rite Cathedral wedding that will forever make my heart skip a beat. The grand architecture, the glowing ballroom, and the feeling that you just stepped into something timeless. Zach and Paige’s wedding had all of that and more. With a soft champagne and cream palette, live music throughout the day, and one of the most iconic venues in Indianapolis as their backdrop, their celebration was truly unforgettable.

The day began at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Indianapolis. The space was filled with natural light and a calm, excited energy as everyone got ready. These quieter moments always set the tone for the day, and Zach and Paige were surrounded by so much love from their people.

The First Look
Paige and Zach chose to do a first look, which truly allowed for a relaxed and intentional wedding day. By seeing each other privately earlier in the day, we were able to create a seamless timeline that allowed for multiple photo locations without feeling rushed. This included time at the hotel, portraits downtown Indianapolis, and fully taking advantage of the stunning indoor and outdoor backdrops at the Scottish Rite Cathedral.
Most importantly, this approach meant they could prioritize what mattered most... being present with each other, and enjoying their celebration to the fullest.

Downtown Indianapolis Wedding Portraits
After their first look, we explored downtown Indianapolis for portraits, capturing a mix of classic city architecture and timeless editorial-style images. We then made our way to the iconic Meridian Street steps outside the Scottish Rite Cathedral, one of my favorite photo locations in the city.

South Lounge Wedding Ceremony
Paige and Zach’s ceremony took place in the South Lounge at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, an intimate yet elegant space within the historic venue. The combination of live strings, soft lighting, and thoughtful details created a truly meaningful

Scottish Rite Cathedral Wedding Reception
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour with a live saxophonist, adding a unique touch to the celebration. Zach & Paige were able to attend cocktail hour and have time to connect, relax, and transition into the evening’s festivities.
The guests made their way downstairs to the Grand Ballroom at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, and this space never disappoints. The soaring ceilings, dramatic architecture, and warm glow create such an unforgettable setting. With soft florals in champagne and cream tones, and elegant gold accents that tied everything together beautifully.
